The Byrne Family in the Flower Garden

The sun was shining, the flowers were awake, and the morning felt alive. As I walked around the flower garden prior to the family arriving, I couldn’t wait to see this family again and witness how much their girls had grown since their most recent family photo session.

One of the many things I love about family photography is not only meeting a family, but developing a friendship with the family. Because I have photographed this family over the past year, I’ve loved getting to know them. Whenever I see them, it’s like no time has passed … that is, until I see their sweet daughters and realize time is flying by. It is amazing to see how quickly their daughters have grown in just a year. I love that they realize just how important it is to document such an important chapter in their lives.

Every time I see them, it takes no time at all for their oldest daughter to warm up during the family photo session. And, let’s face it, there’s just something so incredibly cute about an adorable baby with beautiful blue eyes and the world’s sweetest serious face. Oh so sweet.
