When a past client reached out and asked if I could photograph her extended family of 16 as a gift for her mom, I couldn’t wait to schedule their session. To keep things nice and simple, the photo session took place at her parent’s beautiful home. The house, trees, landscaping, and surroundings were just perfect. I could tell as soon as I arrived that these were my kind of people. I was greeted by a Great Dane while a few of the men were outside grilling and enjoying some beverages. The others were either getting ready or working their way to the location. I felt right at home.

The whole evening was completely go with the flow as I pulled people for photos as they were ready, walked the property with the family, and captured so many sweet moments. When it comes to photographing a family of 16, it’s all about the personalities, the individuals, the family as a whole, and all the in-between moments that make this family special, unique, and awesome.
