The wind was blowing, the temperature was dropping, the clouds were arriving … and this family was looking as cute as ever. When I showed up to this family’s property, I couldn’t help but be blown away (no pun intended) by the beauty of the landscape that surrounded their gorgeous home.

With the mountain in the near distance and little pockets of interest throughout the property, I couldn’t wait to explore the grounds with the family and photograph all of the cute moments throughout the photo session. From chattering teeth to blowing hair, the wind was definitely strong, but thankfully we had the chance to hide out in their home here and there to warm up. We even snuck in a few indoor photos while the kiddos cozied up on a chair.

I had so much fun getting to know this sweet family (and extended family who arrived and enjoyed a quick impromptu photo session). They were loving, kind, friendly, welcoming, and willing to brave the extreme fall weather so that I could capture so many cute and sweet moments.
