So, let me just start off by saying this family is so awesome. Why? Where do I begin? First off, hello adorable little three-month-old. What a beautiful, sweet girl! From their easy-going nature to their go-with-the-flow mentality, their photo session had me smiling and laughing the whole time. Their baby girl was not having it during the photo session, but that’s babies for you. You never know what will happen and I love that they weren’t too stressed about it. We all kept laughing as we tried to get the little cutie pie to crack a smile. Their baby girl was just the cutest.

Another thing I loved? During my conversations with the sweet mama leading up to the photo session, I found out that she was a photographer in the area. You would think that as photographers, we have tons of family photos, right? Wrong. I think that we only have maybe three (super casual) photos of us as a family since my second child was born. And, most of the photos of myself with the children are selfies. My husband is totally not into photography. With that being said, my four-year-old son is totally getting into photography and loves taking photos. How fun!

This sweet mama was all too familiar with this situation. She said, “We only have one photo of the four of us since our daughter was born and it’s at the hospital!” We were speaking the same language. In other words, I couldn’t wait to get her on the other side of the camera and photograph her sweet, beautiful family during such a special moment in their lives.
