So, let me just start off by saying that this family is awesome. After going back and forth with this sweet mama about location and outfits, we were all set to have their family’s mini photo session take place at Gaver Farm. Think October, apple orchard, and a fall day. But, wait, instead of a cool fall day, it just so happened to be a bajillion+ degrees … at the beginning of October. What?! But, this family was full of champs. We grabbed the apple bag, hopped on the tractor, and rode out to the apple orchard as we anticipated a fun yet unseasonably warm mini photo session.

And now I’m hooked. I want to have every photo session in an apple orchard. I had so much fun documenting and photographing this sweet and fun family as they picked and enjoyed the apples. The kiddos picked the apples from the trees (and maybe a few from the ground) and filled the apple bag with all sorts of deliciousness. The kiddos were so sweet and the parents were fun-loving and totally into going with the flow. What’s not to love? There’s nothing like a beautiful apple orchard to bring out the kid in all of us.
