When I found out that our good friends from D.C. who moved to California a few years ago were visiting Maryland and staying with my brother-in-law’s family during the Thanksgiving holiday, I was counting down the days until we got to see them. When Hayley asked me if I could take their family photos during their visit, my excitement grew. The last time I saw their son he was just a baby. Now he’s a busy toddler who is full of energy and smiles.

I go a long way back with this family, especially the parents. We have shared so many fun, memorable moments. Once we got in tons of hugs, we headed to a park near my brother-in-law’s house and braved the chilly November temps. This kiddo was so of laughter and smiles as I captured this super cute family.
