When Kelly reached out to me and requested a mini photo session, I was so excited about the opportunity to meet her and photograph her kiddos. She mentioned the possibility of having the photo session at her father-in-law’s farm in Burkittsville, Maryland. After sharing photos of the farm with me, I started counting down the days until the photo session. From the house to the land to the trees, I knew the location was going to be perfect for an evening mini photo session. After scrolling through these photos, I’m sure you’ll see why this was my dream location (and dream house).

I felt right at home as we walked the property together and shared stories. The kids were so friendly, their outfits were perfectly coordinated, and the property was breathtakingly beautiful. I loved getting to know Kelly, her three kids, and her father-in-law. A huge thank you goes out to them for allowing me to capture so much joy on their family’s property.
